How a life goes
Choose a side
The Dawnlands or the Dusklands. Your pick colors the world and signs you into the war.
Burn Essence
Cores drop from everything that dies. Crush them and bend physical might or arcane craft to your will.
Raise a hold
Hire the ambitious at the tavern. Grow a camp into a kingdom that pays you while you sleep.
Die. Return stronger.
Longer-lived races, the other side if you like, and a legacy bonus that only ever compounds.
The realm, in pictures
Every image below is the game itself, captured mid-play. No mockups, no promises the engine cannot keep.

🗺️ One map. Two banners. Fog between.
The realm is drawn as it is lived. Every hold on the map belongs to a real player, clan territory moves when clans move, and the opposing banner's lands sit under fog until you stand among them.
- A hand-drawn world of coasts, rivers and mountain passes, zoomed like a chart on a captain's table.
- Fog of war covers the enemy banner. The map never lies about your own side.
- Territory lines shift as clans take ground, lose it, and take it back.

⚔️ Every fight is a seed. Every seed replays.
Combat is resolved by a deterministic engine and played back on a living canvas: real sprites, real damage numbers, backdrops drawn for the place you fought. The quiet chores get the same respect. Gathering, training and crafting each stage their own little scene.
- The same seed produces the same fight on every screen, forever.
- Twelve biomes plus arena and siege backdrops, drawn per scene.
- A synthesized wind and the ring of steel. No audio files, one mute button.

🕳️ The Ancient Ruins take one. Alone.
Beneath every hold waits a stair that goes down forever. Descend floor by floor, past named wardens every fifth landing, and your best floor becomes your badge. The deepest delvers share a weekly purse.
- The stair takes one: no party, no shortcuts, no excuses.
- Every fifth floor keeps a warden with a name and a grudge.
- A 250-gold Delver's purse each week for those who reach floor ten.

🏟️ Duels you can watch, replay and send.
The arena is opt-in and the fighting is honest: saved builds, seeded outcomes, a ratings ladder. A challenge is staged like any task, so you watch the bout unfold instead of reading a receipt.
- Deterministic duels between saved builds. The outcome is settled, never twitchy.
- Every finished bout has a public replay link. Send the kill to your rival.
- A lost duel sheds a few materials, never gear. Insurance rides along by default.

⚒️ Seven disciplines. Rarity is rolled, never sold.
The world drops materials; the forge makes the power. Blacksmithing, alchemy, enchanting, cooking, leatherworking, fletching and tailoring, with enhancing on the side bench. Every craft rolls its rarity at claim, from Normal to Legendary, and finished pieces take gems and runes.
- Odds are rank-gated: Legendary must be earned before it can be risked.
- Gems and runes set into sockets. Replacing burns the old one. Choose well.
- Secret blueprints drop as loot; escrowed craft orders let players hire smiths.

⚖️ A two-sided book, taxed at two percent.
Post a listing, or post a standing offer to buy and let the book fill your purse while you sleep. Prices are discovered by players, history is charted, depth is drawn bar by bar.
- Sell listings and buy offers meet in one order book.
- Price history on everything that trades.
- A 2% realm tax, waived for as long as the Market Fair lasts.

🧍 You are what you wear, and what you have done.
The character sheet is a paper doll: every slot worn, every stat earned three points at a time, every feat pinned as a badge. Gear score tells the truth about power, and equipment decides fights.
- Stats, gems and gear sets all fold into every battle.
- Three stat points each level. Spend them your way, not the meta's.
- Feats and badges are earned in play. The Charter forbids selling them.

📜 The realm remembers your every life.
A lineage scroll records each life as it closes: banner, bloodline, cause of death, what was built. The realm also keeps your rivalries. The blade you crossed most, across every body you have worn, becomes your nemesis.
- Bonds are your own past read back to you, with names screened. No surveillance.
- Faction memory: defect twice and the old lands will remark on it.
- Crossing blades with your nemesis carries a line only you can read.
Death is a door
Twelve real hours are one year of life. When the years run out, or a warden does better, the same door opens for everyone: choose a bloodline (each one beyond human is unlocked by a real feat), switch your banner if the other side looks better from where you lie, and carry a legacy bonus forward. Burn essence on favors that follow every future life. Swear a challenge vow if you want the realm to watch you do it the hard way.
The whole realm, counted
Every system in the game, one line each. Nothing hides.
Your first life is eighty short years.
Spend them well. Everything you earn follows you into the next.
